Establishment

Based on Cabinet Decision No. (220) dated 7/7/1433 AH, approving the organization of the National Center for Social Studies and Research, and noting that Article Three, paragraph (7) regarding the Center’s tasks and responsibilities states: “Providing scientific and technical consulting services to public and private social institutions to improve and develop their services,” and paragraph (10) of the same article states: “Cooperating with research and study centers specialized in social affairs,” the Center has sought to adopt the idea of establishing a Coordinating Council for entities concerned with social research.
