His Excellency Dr. Majid bin Saad Al-Haqbani, Minister of Labor and Social Development and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Center for Social Studies and Research, visited the Center's headquarters to review its departments, administrations and business plan. The visit began at 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, where he was received by the Center's Director General, Prof. Dr. Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al-Nassar, the Center's advisers and staff. At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister listened to a comprehensive briefing from the Director General on the nature of the Center's work, its departments, programs, resources and human capabilities. He then reviewed the Center's development plan, which focuses on aligning the Center's objectives with the strategy of the labor and social development system under the National Transformation Program 2020 and, subsequently, Saudi Vision 2030. The Center aims to become the Kingdom's leading social expertise house by 2020 and the research and advisory arm for a number of government, private and charitable-sector entities. At the end of the meeting, His Excellency praised the Center's achievements and its work in support of social development and its objectives, wishing the Center's team continued success.&nbsp
