Director General: Saudi Vision Is Built Around People as the Foundation of Development
Date
Prof. Dr. Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al-Nassar, Director General of the National Center for Social Studies and Research, extended his congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to Deputy Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on the launch of Saudi Vision 2030. Dr. Al-Nassar stated that the Kingdom's future vision represents hope for the nation's future and genuine advancement, and a conscious foundation for comprehensive modernization. He explained that the vision places people at the center as the primary element on which development is built and national identity is enriched. He emphasized that no nation can advance without investing in its people and relying on them to build a society capable of managing its resources and potential, while seeking higher rankings in global economic, social, scientific and development indicators. Saudi Vision 2030 gives particular attention to young people as the main driver of development and as a generation distinguished by education, qualification and the ability to use modern technologies. In recognition of the importance of building a vibrant, harmonious and socially cohesive society, the National Center for Social Studies and Research was established to monitor and address social issues and phenomena, support social decision-makers with research findings and studies, and activate these results through partnerships with specialized social centers and organizations. The Center will, God willing, contribute effectively to achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, particularly those related to social affairs. Dr. Al-Nassar concluded by praying for the security and stability of the Kingdom and for the Vision to fulfill the aspirations of the leadership and the Saudi people.
