His Excellency Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Minister of Social Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Center for Social Studies and Research, launched the Center's website and the Social Regulations Guide (Dal) on Thursday. The event was attended by the Center's Director General, Prof. Dr. Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al-Nassar, Ministry of Social Affairs deputy ministers, Center advisers and staff. During his presentation, Dr. Al-Nassar explained that communication channels with experts and specialists in social affairs in the Kingdom are limited and that the number of published specialized social studies is also limited. Accordingly, the Center seeks to provide added technological value to researchers, specialists and those interested in social affairs. He also explained that the Social Regulations Guide (Dal), linked to the Center's website, is an interactive reference for monitoring and documenting laws, regulations and reports related to social affairs in Saudi Arabia, the Gulf Cooperation Council states and Arab countries, making them continuously available to users as a reference service. Engineer Mohammed Al-Ghaidani, Director of Knowledge Management at the Center, added that the website includes a database of experts and specialists in social and human fields, as well as a social research database designed to document social knowledge by publishing social research and studies and making them available to specialists and interested users.&nbsp
