The Board of Directors of the National Center for Social Studies and Research held its third meeting, chaired by His Excellency Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Minister of Social Affairs and Chairman of the Board, and attended by Board members representing government and private sectors and specialists in social affairs. The meeting approved the Center's work strategy, focusing on its role in enabling social research and studies as a research center and supporting decision-makers as a social expertise house. The proposed work program for the coming phase during 1437 AH was also discussed. Prof. Dr. Saleh Al-Nassar, Director General of the Center, emphasized the importance of the Center's mission to provide effective scientific communication and support the use of research ideas and projects in designing effective solutions to social issues and problems in Saudi Arabia. The Center has benefited from the Chairman's support in accelerating its establishment phase and expanding partnerships. It was established to monitor and study social issues, phenomena and problems affecting Saudi society and to develop appropriate solutions.&nbsp
