Memorandum of Understanding Between the National Center for Social Studies and Research and the Crime Research Center

The National Center for Social Studies and Research signed a memorandum of understanding with the Crime Research Center at the Ministry of Interior under the patronage and in the presence of the Minister of Social Affairs, Chairman of the Center's Board of Directors. The memorandum was signed by Prof. Dr. Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al-Nassar, Director General of the National Center for Social Studies and Research, and Dr. Dha'ar bin Naif bin Mihya, General Supervisor of the Crime Research Center. The memorandum seeks to strengthen social security by making use of scientific studies and research produced by specialists to reduce the spread of crime, mitigate its risks to society, contribute to reforming individuals with criminal tendencies, and reinforce the concept and importance of security in individual and community life. Dr. Al-Nassar noted that the memorandum reflects a spirit of cooperation and shared understanding of development needs and national priorities, with the National Center serving as a social expertise house that provides information and proposes solutions to problems and phenomena related to social security. Under the memorandum, the parties will jointly research security and social issues through studies, research and scientific consultation, exchange advice on matters of mutual concern, share relevant information and data, and jointly fund agreed research studies and projects.
