First Meeting of the Coordinating Council for Social Research Centers

The first meeting of the Coordinating Council for Social Research Centers was held on Monday, 17/7/1442 AH, corresponding to 1/3/2021, with the participation of Council members. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Sami bin Abdulaziz Al-Damgh, Director General of the National Center for Social Studies and Research.
The meeting reviewed the list of research centers holding membership in the Coordinating Council, as well as candidates for the position of Vice Chairman. Following a vote by Council members, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Quhaiz, Secretary General of the National Center for Youth Research at King Saud University, was elected Vice Chairman of the Coordinating Council. The Council is one of the initiatives of the National Center for Social Studies and Research, a government entity supporting social research, and seeks to coordinate work among relevant entities and unify their efforts in service of the social field and society as a whole.
