انعقد الاجتماع التحصيري الأول للمجلس التنسيقي لمراكز البحوث الاجتماعية عن بعد يوم الأثنين 26 جمادى الآخر 1442هـ الموافق 8 فبراير 2021م، وذلك برئاسة مدير عام المركز الوطني للدراسات والبحوث الاجتماعية الأستاذ الدكتور سامي بن عبد العزيز الدامغ، وحضور عدد من مدراء وممثلي الجهات الحكومية والأهلية والقطاع غير الربحي. واستعرض المجلس آلية التنسيق بين الجهات المعنية بالبحوث الاجتماعية والتي تهدف إلى تبادل الخبرات والأفكار، وبناء قاعدة بيانات تفاعلية تتشارك فيها جميع المراكز المعنية متاحة لجميع الباحثين للاستفادة منها. ويعد المجلس التنسيقي لمركز البحوث الاجتماعية أحد مبادرات المركز للتعزيز التعاون والتنسيق مع مراكز البحوث والدراسات المختصة في في مجال البحوث والدراسات الاجتماعية
