His Excellency Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, Minister of Labor and Social Development and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Center for Social Studies and Research, chaired the second term of the Center's Board on Wednesday, 28/8/2019, at the Center's headquarters in Riyadh. The meeting was attended by the Center's Director General, Dr. Sami bin Abdulaziz Al-Damgh, and Board members representing government and private sectors and specialists in social affairs.

The session began with opening remarks by Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi, who welcomed attendees and emphasized the importance of integrating roles to enable the Center to achieve its objectives and vision amid the development momentum of Saudi Vision 2030. He highlighted the role of all components of society as essential partners in achieving the objectives of the National Transformation Program, Quality of Life Program and national identity initiatives. The Board reviewed major achievements and ongoing projects, discussed a number of agenda items, and adopted several decisions and recommendations.
