As part of efforts to strengthen support for decision-makers, the National Center for Social Studies and Research signed a memorandum of understanding with King Saud University on Wednesday, 20 December 2023. The memorandum aims to contribute to building a knowledge economy, create an environment that encourages learning and intellectual creativity, optimize the use of technology, and promote effective local and international partnerships. It also seeks to develop qualified cadres capable of innovation and development, strengthen knowledge exchange, develop skills, transfer expertise, benefit from the results of scientific studies and research, and provide consultations. The agreement supports productive cooperation between King Saud University and the Center in implementing programs and activities that stimulate and develop the scientific and social sectors by enhancing research and studies, supporting initiatives and activating the role of both parties in achieving Saudi Vision 2030. It also covers the exchange of information and data of mutual interest while respecting privacy and intellectual property, reviewing and developing relevant social policies, and participating in scientific events, seminars and meetings that both parties consider important for discussing research issues.
