The National Center for Social Studies and Research announces the launch date of the Social Research Award in its second cycle. The award aims to encourage distinguished researchers and motivate research into social issues of national priority in order to develop high-quality solutions to challenges facing Saudi society. It also seeks to improve the quality of social research by honoring male and female researchers whose work contributes to social development and enhances quality of life in support of Saudi Vision 2030.

&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp The award consists of five categories: Social Issues Poverty and Social Justice Women's Issues Youth Issues and Childhood Issues. Topics under the Social Issues category include: (1) quality of life and social well-being (2) challenges facing families amid social and economic changes (3) social innovation, social entrepreneurship and their role in the economics of social change and (4) sustainable development challenges, contemporary environmental problems and their impact on people.

&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Nominations will begin at the start of next year, on 1 January 2025. Researchers and research centers from inside and outside the Kingdom may participate in any category from that date in accordance with the award conditions published on the award website.
