The Board of Directors of the National Center for Social Studies and Research held its third meeting yesterday evening under the chairmanship of His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs, Chairman of the Board, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, and in the presence of board members representing the government and private sectors and specialists in social affairs.
During the meeting, the center’s work strategy was approved, which focuses on the center’s role in enabling research and social studies as a research center, and supporting the decision-maker as a social expertise house. The center’s proposed work program for the next phase during the year 1437 AH was also discussed.
The Director General of the Center, Prof. Dr. Saleh Al-Nassar, stressed the importance of the Center’s mission in providing effective scientific communication, and supporting the utilization of research ideas and projects in designing effective solutions to social issues and problems in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
It is worth noting that the National Center for Social Studies and Research invested the support of the Chairman of the Board of Directors in accelerating the work in the founding stage, and expanding the circle of partnerships, as it is mentioned that the Center was established with the aim of monitoring and studying issues, phenomena and social problems that concern the Saudi society, and finding appropriate solutions in them.
